About the Script Pitch

The Script Pitch is part of InterForum, the industry programme running alongside the INTERFILM International Short Film Festival Berlin. We're excited to announce the 2026 edition!

How it works:  From all submissions, a selection committee will choose 8 international projects to participate. The programme has two components:  - The Lab: workshops, individual and group script consultations, and presentation training. - The Pitching Competition: held in front of a live audience and jury during the INTERFILM Festival (Nov 10–15, 2026). Each participant presents their project in 5 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A with an international jury of film and media professionals.

To help participants build meaningful industry connections, the competition is followed by One-on-One meetings with producers and a Meet & Greet with industry professionals. The winner will be announced at the INTERFILM awards ceremony on Saturday, Nov 14, 2026.

CineSud is kindly supporting the 12th edition of Script Pitch: The winner will receive a cash prize of 2.000 Euros and will be able to participate in the development-program CineSud ShortLab free of charge. As part of this cooperation, one spot is reserved for a participant from the Netherlands.
